Donald Trump's Policies Constitute a Danger to Civilization.

His national and international strategies – including the attempted coup five years ago to current moves and warnings – erode both domestic and international legal frameworks. But that’s not all.

They jeopardize the very concept of what we mean by.

A ethical foundation of any advanced culture is to prevent the more powerful from attacking and exploiting the vulnerable. Otherwise, we would be permanently immersed in a state of nature where survival of the strongest could survive.

This ideal lies at the center of the nation's founding texts. It is equally the heart of the modern framework of international relations supported by the America, which stresses multilateralism, popular sovereignty, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law.

Yet, it is a delicate construct, frequently ignored by those who seek to abuse their influence. Maintaining it demands that the powerful have the moral fortitude to refrain from seeking temporary advantages, and that the rest of us hold them accountable if they don't.

Unfettered might is not right. It leads to uncertainty, chaos, and war.

Whenever entities that are wealthier and stronger attack and exploit those that are not, the framework of society unravels. If such aggression are not contained, the fabric unravels. If not stopped, the world can descend into instability and violence. History provides ample precedent.

Our current reality is a international landscape with deepening divides. Authority and resources are more concentrated than in modern history. This encourages the elite to leverage their position against the less fortunate because they feel above the law.

The fortunes of certain billionaires is almost beyond comprehension. The power of major corporations in technology, energy, and aerospace covers a vast portion of the world. Artificial intelligence is could further concentrate wealth and power further. The destructive power of the major powers is unmatched in the annals of time.

Empowered by political allies and an accommodating high court, the highest office has been made into the most powerful and unaccountable entity of state power in recent memory.

Combine these factors and you see the threat.

A direct line ties previous transgressions to ongoing menaces. Each were founded upon the overconfidence of absolute power.

One observes parallel dynamics in international affairs: in territorial invasions, in strategic threats, and in the rampant monopolization by industrial titans.

Yet, unfettered might does not make right. It fosters instability, upended order, and bloodshed.

Historical evidence demonstrates that rules and conventions to check the influential also shield them. If these guardrails are removed, their relentless pursuit for greater influence and riches ultimately cause their collapse – taking down their corporations, nations, or empires. And pave the way for international catastrophe.

This kind of lawlessness will cast a long shadow over international stability – and the very idea of a rules-based order – for the foreseeable future.
